The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a permanent space dedicated to changing exhibitions from the Royal collection – an astonishing and wide-ranging collection of paintings, sculpture and other works of art as well as a glittering array of priceless treasure held in trust for the Nation by Her Majesty The Queen. This is a popular site for London visitors who love art and a Free Entry site for London Pass holders.

Originally created over 40 years ago on the west front of Buckingham Palace, The Queen’s Gallery London was built out of the bomb-damaged ruins of a former private chapel and recently redeveloped.

From May until  October this year there will be a special exhibition at The Queen’s Gallery: ‘In Fine Style: The Art of Stuart and Tudor Fashion’.

The exhibition explores the glamorous world British monarchs costume and their court during the 16th and 17th centuries. Portraits and Paintings on display showcase changes with fashion during the period and highlights the importance of it to deliver key messages.

Over 60 paintings will be on display to the public as well as drawings, clothing and garments, jewellery and armnour from the time.

Top Tip:
